MASHAY - Rock ‘n’ Roll and Karaoke

Rock ‘n’ Roll and Karaoke

group size

You take a step out of the corporate hustle of Sydney CBD, push open a large wooden door and enter an oasis of rock ’n’ roll, pizza, beer and fun crowds. First, a New York style pizza parlor with garlic hanging from the ceiling, checkerboard floors, and memorabilia covering the walls. From here, you push open a set of double doors and are transported to a dimly lit rock ‘n’ roll saloon, hosting live bands, craft beer, pinball machines and plenty of space to party.

This half dive bar, half New York style pizza parlor is open to 3am each night, bringing life and character to the heart of the CBD.

  • You and your mates get to sing one of your favourite hard rock hits accompanied by a live band.
  • Your vocal cords to sing along and rock out with the live band.
  • Frankie's Pizza is a 250m from Martin Place train station.

So glad I went. A little too dark inside for me this includes the lighting and atmosphere. Took me back to my younger years, not to say I am old but I am 50. Process: basement restaurant, two bars, two rooms. Find your table, get a menu then go to one of the bars and order your pizza. You will be given a number. There is a digital sign on the wall that displays when your number is ready for pick up. There is only one bar where you pick up your pizza and that was the first one you passed when you walked in. The guys behind the counter are absolutely without a doubt, FANTASTIC. Super friendly and super helpful. I ordered four local beers for the two of us and 2 pizzas. Pizzas are all the same size and easy for me to polish off (about a 12 inches). Pizzas were thin crust and crazy good. I had the soprano and Miami. Soprano with prosciutto ham and arugula and the Miami with ham and pineapple. Awesome. This is my go to place every time I go visit family. Nice job guys.

You'll either love it, or you'll leave. Wish more bars still existed with this simple and honest approach to service and quality. Good selection of beers. Easy choices for pizza. Good music if it's your cup of tea.

Yes! Definitely rate this place. Solid vibe, good pizza and decent drinks, always delivers. Head in late if you're up for a big night and maybe stay away too early on a Friday night until the suit blow ins take off. Sundays or any night with live music never disappoint. Yeah Frankies.
